Representatives from KEC will come speak to families about the programs/classes they offer. These courses get students started on a career or technical pathway. Completing these courses can help students work towards entry into the workforce with an industry credential in their field. Click here to check out career and tech classes they offer.

Representatives from Kishwaukee College will come speak to families about the classes/opportunities they have for college credit. Dual credit is an opportunity for high school students to enroll in college courses during their junior and senior year of high school. The credits earned are applied to both high school graduation requirements and a college degree or certificate at Kishwaukee College. For more information, click here.

Thursday, November 6, 2025 | 6:00-8:00 PM | GKHS Library 

There will be people who specialize in FAFSA/Financial Aid to help families. Complete your FAFSA or Alternative Application Form at this workshop. Pre-completed FSA IDs are highly recommended for the student and at least one parent. If you need help starting, finishing, or reviewing your financial aid forms this workshop is for you!

Materials needed: (From both students AND parents) 2024 tax information; other records of money earned; banking statements of investments, checking accounts and savings accounts; records of untaxed income, list of colleges the student would like to attend (up to 20 per FAFSA form filled out), Chromebook or personal laptop.

UPDATE: The presentation starts at 6:00 PM, if you are only wanting assistance, families can come anytime between 6:00-8:00 PM.
